Municipalities are playing an increasingly important role in addressing the impacts of climate change in addition to many other local environmental issues. Come hear from the former Mayor of Philadelphia and Wharton alumnus Michael Nutter, and Penn Engineering alumna Lolita Jackson who served as Special Advisor for Climate Policy & Programs for the City of New York, and who now serves as a Non-resident Senior Advisor at Perry World House. They will share their expertise on policy entrepreneurship as well as nuts-and-bolts lessons on how to get things done when you are working with (or in) municipal government on these important issues. Lunch will be served on a first-come-first-served basis.
