Erin St. Peter is a Research Analyst/Database Administrator at Wharton’s Real Estate Center and collaborates on select projects at the Risk Center. Her research currently focuses on the impact of federal loan, insurance, and grant programs on disaster recovery, and whether or not residential asset prices accurately capture climate change exposure and flood risk.

Before joining the Risk Center and Wharton, Erin worked for a Native American Community Development Financial Institution working to make direct collateralized mortgage lending possible on tribal lands. She is broadly interested in improving access to financial services and in how financial products are structured in the presence of uncertainty and low-probability, catastrophic events. Erin holds a B.A. in Economics and Government/Legal Studies from Bowdoin College and an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
